SKATE 4 HOMIES interviewed by  SLUG Magazine - May 2011

Recently, the non-profit organization, SKATE 4 HOMIES was featured in Slug Magazine. SLUG is a mag based out of Utah that focuses on the arts, music and the local indie/underground scene. SKATE 4 HOMIES is a totally kickin’ non-prof that focuses its efforts on teaching kids all about the skateboarding industry.  Not only do they devote their time to many local youth centers but they also devote their skills and talents teaching these kids how to skate but also about the business of skateboarding as well.  URF supports this group as often as we can by donating decks or art supplies that they can use at the youth centers or give to the kids.  The great thing about these guys is that they don’t just give free stuff away — no, they reinforce the belief that these things need to be earned by doing good things within their communities.
